scRUBYt! is a simple to learn and use, yet powerful web scraping toolkit written in Ruby. The idea behind making scRUBYt! was to show a few simple concepts of Web extraction as a practical extension of this tutorial.
Since more people have requested a forum for better information exchange, I have installed beast to enhance the discussion. After all, talking via WordPress comments and direct emails is not really cool :-). Please find the brand new forum here:

I’d love to try the new forum as I was having a problem installing scrubyt on my Mac. However, when I try and sign up for forum membership, I get an error page…

Is it OK now? I have never heard anybody to have any problems with scRUBYt! on Mac - you are the first one, and with a couple of problems right away
(beast is not really a scRUBYt! related problem. though…)
